So I had this whole thing written out, then my computer decided to delete all of it. It got me starting to think that God wanted me to write out a different message.

I used to have this motto, "I'm riding a roller coaster that only goes up." I guess at some point in life we figure out that, our life has to drop at one time or another. I told myself that if I turned negative things around and into something positive my roller coaster would never go back down. It didn't take me that long to figure out that we have to hit a bump in the tracks every so often.

"Life is a roller coaster, you can either scream every time you hit a bump, or you can throw your hands up in the air and enjoy it." There will be times when things don't go exactly the way we like it, but we just have to turn those things around for the better. Either that or suck it up and deal with it, if you want to be tough. ;)) I'm just kidding with you. ;)) We need to learn how to not look at people/events for the good in them. We can turn them around for the better, but still we have to keep in mind that things aren't always going to stay at the top no matter how positive we can be.

There will be times when things don't go how we planned, or when others constantly push you down. But there's always one solution that will work the best, even if it's not the way we expect. Pray! God loves you and He will do anything to protect you. He is always listening even though it may not feel like it all the time, He will answer your prayers but there's so many different ways we have to listen to Him to find out what He wants us to do.

I've come to realize that lately my blogs tend to end out it a similar message, but I love spreading the word of God and what He has done for us. Not everyone knows, the amazing word.

On my life's roller coaster I'm going to throw my hands up in the air and praise Him for everything He has done. I will throw my hands up and give Him anything He wants from me. Remember- Life is a roller coaster worth taking, it will be bumpy but it is worth the ticket to get on.

"Nor did demons crucify Him; it is you who have crucified Him and crucify Him still, when you delight in your vices and sins."

As soon as I read this a deep hurt overcame myself. I can't get over the fact that Jesus died for our sins in pain. He had the power to not carry the cross. He can do anything, He could have backed out, but He didn't. Jesus gave up His life for us and we seem to take it for granted most of the time.

How many times have you stopped to think about what God has done for you? He's done so much that I can't even think of half of the things he has done. God is truly amazing! Sometimes we wave over the fact that He died for us in pain and suffering. We don't think very much of it, but the fact that He died for us is something that we should always thank Him for.

I think that sometimes we ask too much of Him. Instead of always asking him for things we should thank Him for what He has given us. God has given us so much, we don't even realize it. One of the most amazing things He gave us is the Eucharist! We need to thank Him for that every day!

We nailed Jesus to the cross, we took His hands and hurt them. It should be our hands that are hurt and not His, I would carry the cross for Him any day no matter how much pain it would cost. We all have our own small cross to carry too, whether it be something that's hidden or clearly visible.

My great uncle who recently passed away carried a cross with him every single day. He had to carry a breathing machine with him for the last few years of his life. He once never complained about it but once said - "In order to live we need to die", and that is when we can enter everlasting life. His love for God was truly amazing and I will always look up to him for that.

There is not one person who loves us more than God, He will always love us and never leave us. He is the one person who will not leave if we made a bad choice, if we lose our job and all our friends, He will always be with us. He carried up the cross and opened the gates to Heaven! We should thank Him for that all the time! There is no bigger sacrifice.

God loves you!

The video below shows a few clips from The Passion. Every single time I think of the song played I remember how He died for us.

Sometimes we may take everything that we have for granted. As teenagers we get annoyed with our parents and sometimes we don't really appreciate everything we have.

We can't be that way, and there's one simple reason why. Jesus gave up His life for us. For all of us! That is the biggest sacrifice! He died in pain and suffering so that we can go to Heaven and be grateful for what we have.

We should show God that we love the gifts He gave us, and use them. Some people have the gift of intelligence, sports, acting, music, etc. - but they don't use it. Most teenage girls think they're not pretty enough, I mostly hear: "I'm ugly", "No guy will ever like me, I'm not pretty enough".

God made us in His own perfect image! :) We should be happy with the gifts He gave us and not just throw them away. He made us in His own way and we should thank Him for everything He gave us. God gave me the gift of playing the flute, I could play it quite well but I never had the want to practice every single day. At one point I actually quit band class at school. Then I realized that God gave me a special gift and I would find myself fingering flute notes on a pencil under the desk at school. I joined the band again and started private lessons, and I can truly see my gift from God now.

I guess not all of us realize our gifts right away, but God made us special so we all have something truly amazing! As I said before, us teenagers can get kind of annoyed with our parents.... ;) But God gave us them for a special reason! Yea, they won't let us do everything we want to do. Sure, they won't let us go out some places. Why? Because they love us and want to protect us! God gave us loving parents, even though for some they might not show it all the time - but all parents love their children no matter what.

So let's keep life beautiful and thank God for everything He gave us! :D

Before I start this blog post, I just have to say that Mother Teresa's smile is so contagious, even in the pictures! I can only imagine how contagious her smile must have been face to face! :)

Last night I came across a quote of Mother Teresa's and it told me exactly what I needed to hear.

"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other."

Take a minute, and read that quote again. Let it sink in. After I read that quote I decided to seek a little bit deeper into it. I wanted to find out what it really meant.

I'm sure there are several ways that one can interpret this quote, some very different from mine - but this is the way that I took it. When I read it, the words hit me like a bulldozer. I'm usually one to try and keep the peace (well maybe not in debates but in general). But I know what it's like to feel betrayed and have people talk behind your back. Lately, I've had a hard time forgiving those people... Especially when they act like they didn't do anything wrong. But I know that God has a big heart and will forgive everyone so I should try to also.

If there "is no peace" then we have no room left to love somebody as a brother/sister of Christ. "We have forgotten that we belong to each other", and that God gave up His life for all of us. We are brothers and sister of Christ and we should all love each other.

Imagine if everyone stopped praying just for themselves but instead prayed for others. It would make a much bigger effect because one wouldn't just be praying for them self but for many and so on.

If we would stop judging people and arguing we would be able to love each other for the good inside of us. God sees the good in each and every one of us, that's what He loves us for. That is how He keeps the peace.

I know that I've kind of gone off on a few different things, but I feel that they need to be covered. We got to start loving each other for who we are and not for the bad things. We can only achieve peace after we remember that "we belong to each other." Jesus is in every single one of us! We can only be happy with each other (and with ourselves) if we acknowledge that.

When I'm upset with someone I like to remember this quote so that I can kindly address the problem, pray, and look for the good in the person. If we always look at the bad that will never get us anywhere. When we look at the good in our friends, family, and even our enemies we can create peace.
